This Place is amazing. Dr. E and his staff are all great. My puppy had an accident, and we ran to the nearest Vet to us. Though we got there a few minutes after hours, they happen to still be in the office and opened the door to take care of us. I truly appreciate the effort and extent that Dr. E is going through in order to try and make sure that our puppy is good. He’s very reasonable, and I highly recommend him and his services to anyone looking for a great vet. 10/10
I can’t thank this LC+DH enough for the exceptional care they provided during my Pomeranian’s recent rectal surgery. From start to finish, the experience exceeded all expectations during what could have been an incredibly stressful time. The doctor is truly outstanding. Not only is he incredibly knowledgeable and skilled at his work, but he took the time to explain everything thoroughly and made sure we understood the procedure and recovery process. His expertise was evident, and I felt complete confidence leaving my beloved pup in his hands. It’s rare to find a veterinarian who combines such high-level technical skill with genuine compassion. The entire staff deserves recognition as well. They were quick and efficient without ever making me feel rushed, and their caring approach put both me and my Pomeranian at ease. Every team member we encountered was attentive, professional, and clearly loves what they do. Our baby, Eskimo, has recovered beautifully thanks to their excellent care. If you’re looking for a trustworthy veterinary practice that treats your pet like family, I wholeheartedly recommend this hospital. They’ve earned a loyal client for life!
The staff is very friendly and professional, and this is the closest place that would help see my turtle! The vet was very knowledgeable and friendly, he even gave me a little discount on daily injections due to my turtle needing antibiotics and can't take pills. This is a great place to bring ur pets!
Excellent doctor and facility! They operated on my 11 year old Pomeranian. She has turned into a new dog ever since her surgery. Doctor E is an excellent doctor and knows what he's talking about and was readily available anytime I called after hours wanting to speak directly to him. Finally, everyone talks about price, their price was the most affordable! Thank you for taking care of my fur baby during her hard time!
I recently brought my two cats to Lincoln Ave Cat and Dog Animal Hospital, and I couldn’t be happier with the care they received. Dr. El-Akbawy is a brilliant veterinarian who clearly takes great pride in his work. He shows genuine compassion not only for animals, but also for the families who bring them in. What stood out most to me was his confidence and depth of knowledge—he explains things clearly and you can tell he has seen and treated so many different cases. That level of experience gave me peace of mind knowing my cats were in the best hands. It’s rare to find a vet who combines expertise, compassion, and confidence the way Dr. El-Akbawy does. I left feeling very grateful to have found this hospital and will definitely be returning for future visits. Highly recommend!
What can I say about Dr. Elakbawy and his wonderful staff? An amazing and welcoming environment to our pets. In good times or in bad like my dog was at his last hours of his life Dr. E fought to save him. On a Sunday he was off and Dr. E encouraged me to bring my dog where everything was familiar to him. His last moments (my Duke) were spent w/his close care in oxygen. His staff one better than the other. They’re loving with Tom, Michelle, Colleen and more caring staff. The Receptionist, Hanna, looked for the blue urn for Duke’s cremation because I asked !! What more does a Vet office need give and good caring advice ? Thank you to all !!
With minutes left to live, Lincoln Cat Hospital saved our Gatsby‘s life. Gatsby was having a diabetic seizure in my husband‘s arms. Thankfully, Lincoln Cat hospital is nearby and the doctor literally saved Gatsby‘s life. Now, Gatsby has three more days as an outpatient, but we firmly believe Gatsby would not be alive today if it wasn’t for Lincoln, Cat Hospital.
After taking my male tabby to Lincoln Avenue Cat and Dog (he was having issues with one of his back legs), Dr. El-Akbawy was so informative and helpful, he also discovered that my cat has elevated cardiac enzymes (indicating heart issues). I was surprised to find that Dr. El-Akbawy performs multiple types of surgeries at half the price of an Emergency care office. If your pet needs surgery, I would highly recommend getting a second opinion from this practice. Dr. El-Akbawy seems to really care about his patients and he takes the time to find low cost solutions for patients with various issues. Overall, my experience was 10/10 and I would recommend this practice and I will be returning in the future.
I am beyond grateful for the recommendation i was given to see Dr. E. From the 1st time walking in, extremely scared with my 10 year old morkie we were treated with kindness and respect. Everyone in the office was so pleasant to speak to. Their prices are way more reasonable than any other hospital I have been too. My dog ended up being admitted for 5 days. I was able to call as much as i wanted and i was updated immediately every time. This hospital went above and beyond for my fur baby and i will forever be greatful for them. Its so heart warming to see that there is still a place that cares so much about animals and puts them 1st. I will definitely be returning and i recommend this pet hospital.
